Spot Tone for Windows.

Detect and Repair, on a Windows PC. The beta is new and still filling in, and it updates itself: new builds are offered when it opens. Version 1.0.12 beta 22, published November 6, 2026.

Most PCs take the first installer. The second is for ARM PCs, such as a Surface Pro with a Snapdragon chip. Both links always point at the newest beta.

Download for Windows Download for Windows on ARM The installer adds the Windows App Runtime if the PC does not have it.
The installer is signed by Cary Norton, LLC. Windows may still show its “unrecognized app” screen for a while, as it does with any new signature: click More info, then Run anyway.

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
Graphics
A DirectX 12 graphics card makes detection and repair many times faster. An RTX 3080 detects a 4500 × 3600 scan in about a second. Without one, Spot Tone runs on the processor.
Updates
The app updates itself. New builds are offered when it opens.

License

A Mac license works on Windows. Open Settings ▸ License and use the same license file. Buying is at the Buy section of the home page.

Without a license, Spot Tone for Windows exports with a watermark and a 1,500 px size cap, like the Mac without a trial.
